Anabel has over 10 years of experience in the accounting field as well as 6 years of experience in auditing. She worked as an accountant for a mid-size accounting firm serving clients in different industries. She also worked as an auditor for one of the Big Four and her specialty was investment funds. Anabel obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of the District of Columbia and her MBA from DeVry University. She has been an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2017. She is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

Anabel has extensive experience working with nonprofits in the Washington, DC area. Her experience includes doing the accounting, preparing financial statements, assisting in annual audits, reviewing Form 990s, preparing budgets, tracking expenses, and advising board members on related accounting matters.
