Janet is a strategic Human Resources leader and generalist focused on growing high performance cultures and delivering best in class service across business units.  Janet has expertise in developing and administering HR processes ranging the full spectrum from onboarding to offboarding in compliance with federal and local labor laws.  She anticipates organizational and business needs, analyzes risks, achieves value when negotiating benefits and uses excellent problem-solving skills to produce desired results in diverse industries including finance, hedge funds, marketing/advertising, healthcare, academia and associations.


Prior to consulting, Janet was Vice President, Head of Human Resources and Office Services at International Council of Shopping Centers where she automated and streamlined policies and procedures and built an HR team.  Previously, she was Vice President at MKP Capital Management, LLC with a focus on recruitment and talent management.  Prior to that, Janet was Vice President at Zephyr Management, L.P. for over 13 years, where she developed and implemented comparable HR benefits and policies across 6 global and several U.S. state satellite offices in compliance with varied local labor laws.  She saved the company 37% in healthcare premiums by introducing tiered benefit plans.  Before Zephyr, she was an Office Manager at Rainbow Media, Inc. where she administered payroll and all HR functions.  


Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fordham University and completed 5 classes in the Master’s Program at New York University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation.
